Who writes these guides, how they are checked, and how to tell us we got it wrong.
Who writes them
The CARS4YOU Team is the team that builds the app. No content agency, no rotating freelance bylines. The people writing about car valuation are the people who wrote the code that calculates it.
That is a strength and a bias, so it is worth stating: we publish a marketplace app, so our guides mention it. What we will not do is pretend a competing platform is worse than it is. Our comparisons say where the others do better than us, because a comparison you cannot trust is worth nothing to you and nothing to us.
How a guide gets checked
Administrative steps point at the official source rather than a rule quoted from memory. Where our page and an official site disagree, the official site is right.
Amounts are dated or avoided. Registration fees change by region and by year, and platform options change regularly. When we give a figure it carries its date. When we cannot keep it current, we explain the mechanism instead of printing a number that will be wrong in six months.
Claims about other platforms describe how they work, not figures we cannot verify.
Every guide carries an update date. Fixing a typo does not move it. Changing a rule, a price or a recommendation does.
What we do not do
We do not give personalised legal, tax or financial advice. A guide describes a common situation, not yours specifically. For a dispute, a hidden defect or an inheritance, a qualified professional is still necessary.
We do not publish a figure we cannot justify, and we do not repeat a statistic read elsewhere without tracing it to its source.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. A rule that changed, an outdated fee, a process that no longer works as described: all of it is useful. Write to contact@cars4you.online.
A correction that changes the meaning of a guide is noted on the page, not silently swapped in.
